God Eater Season 2 is highly anticipated since the completion of the first season. Fans rated the anime as one of a hilarious series of all time. Also, those who have played the game version of the series are familiar with the storyline of the tv show. The anime is the adaptation of the Japanese RPG game. After a successful season 1, fans are expecting God Eater Season 2 as they want this insanely hilarious series to be back on the air.
The series is a direction of Takayuki Hirao; developed by the Ufotable studio and music by Go Shiina. The story is set in foreseeable future in 2071 when the humanity is at the edge of extinction due to the invasion of alien creatures Aragami. These creatures are no less than monsters as they wiped out the almost entire human population. However, the remaining human race has been protected by Fenrir organization, a group of people whose activities are directed towards one goal i.e. to defeat Aragami and protect the human race from extinction.
“The hero” is the protagonist of the series and a member of Fenrir organization. He along with Alisa and other units of the organization is now on a mission to save humanity. Besides this, his missions lead him to different people and creature’s including Shio, a human-like creature who further leads him to a secret Ark project.
God Eater Season 2 Spoilers and Storyline
According to some theories, Lenka would be the main protagonist of the upcoming season. If you have seen the previous installments of God Eater then you are familiar with the female character of Lenka. As she was the one who motivates the entire team in the finale episode of the previous season and because of her, the whole team was managed to deal with Aragami. Along with this, fans would see Lindow as it is speculated that the character may have survived and will continue in the upcoming “God Eater Season 2”.
Along with this, the humanoid Shio might also be the lead of season 2. Besides this, the biggest secret about Aragami will reveal soon. Moreover, the audience can expect “God Eater Season 2” to feature new characters, interesting storyline and terrifying creatures that would be frightening and would give you Goosebumps.

God Eater Season 2 Expected Release Date
Well, the anime project is quite large and it production takes time. Also, it is an ongoing series, and thus no renewal updates or release date hasn’t confirmed by the Ufotable Studio. However, “God Eater” has been a successful anime series and we are sure about that the series would be back with “God Eater Season 2”. According to some speculations, it might arrive sometime in 2017, but still, we are not sure about it.
