Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou Season 2: 2019 Release Date Updates

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou/Everyday Life with Monster Girls is the anime adaptation of Japanese Sci-fi, fantasy manga written and illustrated by Okayado. The series made is debut on July 7, 2015, on AT-X, and was later broadcasted on Tokyo MX, and other Japanese TV channels, the season 1 had a total of 12 episodes with a running time of about 25 minutes.
Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for the United States broadcast through Crunchyroll. The manga series has a total of 14 volumes at present with last release on 13 June 2018. It is very rare to find an anime series with only has one season as the creators wish to explore the story more and more through the anime adaptation and it clearly suggests that Monster Musume Season 2 release soon.


Updated on 30/01/2019: It has been almost two years since the last OVA episode was released in 2017. The original manga series also went on a several month hiatus in 2018 due to writer Okayado’s mental health. However, the manga has resumed publishing, as per the latest updates there are 14 Volumes comprising of 62 Chapters.
It was reported the first season of Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou covered chapters 1-16, and 18-25. Moreover, the the two OVAs covered chapters 17 and 26. With the latest update there is enough content to produce Monster Musume Season 3 without any delay.
The production studio Lerche is yet to announce there anime release schedule for 2019, and they might come up with the second season of Monster Musume as there are enough content and fan following.


Moreover, in the last episode of Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou/Everyday Life with Monster Girls’ first season, creators teased with a secret message that teased fans about the release of Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou season 2. The secret message appeared at 16:20 and says “NIKI KETTEI” which means season 2 confirmed, though it has an “If” before it, but it couldn’t stop fans from speculating about Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou Season 2. Plot Overview of Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

The story takes place in Japan where a variety of monsters known as “liminals” half human, and half animal are secretly living among the humans and the Japanese government kept it secret from humans. However, a few years ago, their existence was proved, and the government signed them into law for cultural exchange between humans and these species. Smartcric APK
As per the laws, the liminals have an opportunity to settle among the humans, in order to learn the human culture and knowledge about human society. Each liminal who takes part in this cultural exchange program should have his master. It is the master’s responsibility to escort his guest everywhere, or else this guest would be deported from the country. The legal agreement also forbids any sexual relationship with humans and any attack between species.

The main plot revolves around Kimihito Kurusu, who is one of the participants of this exchange program. Mistakenly the coordinator of this program delivers Miia to his door, and thus they start living together. Miia is a female liminal with a half human and half snake body, despite the restrictions, Miia often tries to seduce Kimihito. Later other female liminals have also settled in his house. Furthermore, meanwhile, the government relaxes the restrictions over having the sexual relationship and on an experimental basis, Kimihito was allowed to marry one of the female liminals.

Monster Musume Season 2 Release Date

Everyday Life with Monster Girls season 1 was concluded on September 22, 2015. However, the creators have not announced any plans regarding Monster Musume Season 2. Meanwhile, the original manga is still ongoing, it was reported that the manga series was in its 7th volume when the anime adaptation was announced.
Earlier it was considered lack of content is the reason behind the delay in pulling out the second season. The manga series is, and the anime has also got excellent reviews and was able to attract a large audience thus there is no reason to cancel the series. With the release of new volumes and enough content the series is expected to release in 2019, however, the official announcement is still awaited.
