The final episode of Mushoku Tensei just aired on television. So, it would have been some time for fans to expect a second season. But, this time around, Studio Bind has surprised fans with Mushoku Tensei Season 2. The story of a young hopeless and jobless man, Rudeus, who reincarnates in his fantasy world to live a life free of all regrets became an incredible hit after the first air. This fan-favorite novel-based anime with the same name is coming back to your television screens very soon.
Even though the concept of a fantasy world has been used earlier in various forms, Mushoku Tensei has a different spark to it. It made the fans root for the anime more. The show has excelled in this particular field due to its unique characters, amazing storylines and incredible animation-style. The show just concluded in January this year and now it’s back with the renewed Mushoku Tensei Season 2.
What To Expect? Will Roxy Meet Rudeus Again?
The concluding episode of Mushoku Tensei was suggestive of Rudeus’ loved ones falling into an unknown trap. Just after the Mana Surge, we saw Rudeus and Eris travel back far from their home. Here, in Paul’s house, everybody goes missing except Norn. Well, it seems clear that Rudeus’ fantasy world is not all scents and roses.
Here, Rudeus along with his adventure party are facing trouble in the forest in the form of a monster. The monster also troubles the other adventure parties. The trouble extends to a point where one of the members of the parties is killed. And so, the death of the member sends a dark message for all the people in the forest. Though Rudeus and the team manage to slay the monster, they in turn get blackmailed by a search party. This results in Ruijered leaving his disguise in order to save Eris.
The events lead to Rudeus, Eris and Ruijerd travelling further away. All of them are unaware of the fact that Roxy, along with the two companions of Paul are searching for them. This is pretty much the ending point of Mushoku Tensei Season 1 Part 1. It is clear that the upcoming 12 episodes will revolve around the adventures of Rudeus and friends. The story will cover up the search of Roxy and the lot. The mystery of the disappearance of Pauls’s family will also be a revelation.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2: Release Date
The inaugural season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation first aired on January 11, 2021. Part 1 of the first season has 11 episodes. The second part is slated to have a total of 12 episodes. As soon as the first season was completed in March, the makers announced through the official Twitter handle that Mushoku Tensei Season 1 Part 2 will return soon and so would the second season. Soon after this, #MushokuTensei started trending globally.
The producing studio of the show, Studio Bind, announced on Twitter that Mushoku Tensei Season 1 Part 2 will hit the TV screens this July. As for Season 2, the makes have stayed away from commenting upon it. Looking at the gaps between the release of Part 1 and 2, fans are hopeful that Mushoku Tensei Season 2 will likely air by the end of this year. The announcement could come after the completion of Part 2 of the first season.
