The wait is finally over for all the fans of MHA. My Hero Academia Season 5 is finally here. Funimation has finally announced the fifth season of this popular superhero anime. MHA fans have been eagerly waiting for the season renewal ever since the show went off-air in June last year. And suddenly Funimation decided to surprise fans with the release dates of the fifth season.
Four seasons and two films have gone by and this show has taken the fans by storm. And the fifth season will include the answers to a lot of questions that were being built up since the beginning. Not only this, the season will also include the benchmark 100th episode of the show ever since the launch of the anime. The viewers will finally witness the most interesting adventures of Izuku Midoriya and friends as they enter the real world out of their classrooms.
My Hero Academia Season 5: Official Synopsis & Plot Details
This time around, expect the best possible arcs and battles we have seen so far. Because this kohai Horikoshi Anime has bottled up the best of the UA Academy universe. Digging up old rivalries, the students of 1-B will take on Midoriya and his friends in the standard training programs. The viewers will get to see some of the most epic fight sequences between the classmates as they work hard on their paths to become pro-heroes.
According to the official synopsis, the show will kick-off with a special recap episode of the past. The story will then revert back to UA Academy. Here, the students of class 1-A will be getting a special “emergency” training where they will take on Nejire Hado and Tamaki Amijiki of The Big Three. It will be exciting to watch how the budding heroes tackle their seniors.
The first half of the show will deal with this special training program while the second half will follow the story of the rivalry between class 1-A and 1-B. All the exercises, fights and trainings will flesh out how the characters have grown and learnt since their first appearance during enrollment.
My Hero Academia Season 5: Will Midoriya Unlock The Full Of One For All?
The trainings and face-offs will not be the only primary focus of the show. All through the show, fans will see Izuku Midoriya learning more about his quirk, One For All. Until now, we have seen him use 20% of his quirk safely. But it will be interesting to see how he will push his limits and reach new peaks of power through his quirk.
Moreover, after the return of All For One and his hier Shigiraki, the world will face an unknown threat. The students and the pro heroes have failed time and again against the mutant Nomus. At a time like this, the world seeks the return of their hero All Might. Will Deku be able handle his quirk and become as good as his predecessor All Might? This will be interesting to watch.

My Hero Academia Season 5 is set to release in just a week! Yes, you heard it right. The first episode will debut on Saturday, 27 March across the world. The new episodes will be available on Funimation, Crunchyroll and Hulu. So, this time around, be ready for a battle fiesta because Funimation’s most anticipated show is back to our screens.
