My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU is an anime adaptation of Wataru Watari’s famous light novel series, My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected. The television series came out back in April 2013 and immediately won millions of hearts. Due to its immense popularity, the anime was then renewed of a second season that came out in 2015. However, fans didn’t hear anything about another season for years. Finally, the Tokyo Broadcasting System confirmed the renewal of a third installment as well.
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Season 3: Renewal
Is it the last season?
During the 2019 anime expo event, the Tokyo Broadcasting System announced the renewal of My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Season 3. They declared that the new episodes would arrive sometime during 2020. The release date was later confirmed to be April 9, 2020. At the event, TBS also revealed that Studio Feel would be returning for the production of the third installment. Well, this turned out to be great news for fans because the animation of Season 2 (produced by Studio Feel) was much better than that of the debut season (produced by Brain’s Base).
Creators of the anime later confirmed that OreGairu Season 3 would conclude the story of the entire series. While the first season covered the first six volumes of the light novel, Season 2 adapts the plot of Volume 7 through 11. Hence, the third and final installment of the television anime will be based on the remaining three LN volumes. It will be covering up the final story arc from Volume 14.
