The makers released the official preview for the very first episode of the anime’s second part. In the trailer, the fans saw Minerva explaining to Typhon about some strange noises that are coming from Echidna’s basement. Minerva goes to checks on Echidna and learns that the witch is playing table tennis with Sekhmet. The fans get to Subaru and several other characters in the preview as well.
The makers revealed the official synopsis of Re Zero Season 2 Episode 14 as well. It reads, “Elsa and her companions are the largest threat to the village and Roswaal’s mansion. Subaru discovers that all the warnings and attacks are nothing but wild traps for him. Roswaal tells Subaru about producing a choice, and the latter is willing to set his bet. Later, Otto reaches Subaru in the forest, and the latter continues to investigate him. However, Otto is not available to offer answers and ends up attacking Subaru.”

In the previous episode of Re Zero, the fans saw Satella faces Subaru and assures him that he should love himself. However, learning this by the character accountable for his pain causes him to snap, raging about how his life doesn’t mean before trying suicide to get out of the site. However, Minerva encourages him, and Carmilla reminds him of how people mourned for him in the second trial, making him second guess himself. Having recovered his fear of death, Subaru thanks the witches before separating ways. Subaru leaves and is defied by Otto, who tells him to stop shoving his problems alone.
