Shinmai Maou no Testament/The Testament of Sister New Devil is an action fantasy anime series based on the light novel series of the same name by Tetsuto Uesu. The season one of the anime was aired between January 7, 2015 – March 25, 2015, and had a total of 12 episodes. immediately after the season one, a second season titled The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST was aired between October 9, 2015 – December 11, 2015, which had 10 episodes. The anime was aired on Tokyo MX and later on other Japanese channels, the series was licensed by Crunchyroll for broadcast in territories of North America. And now fans are eagerly waiting for Shinmai Maou no Testament season 3 as reported by The Anime Daily.
The Testament of Sister New Devil earned good ratings all around the world since its premiere, which convinced creators to make a second season without any delay and fans assumed that Shinmai Maou no Testament season 3 will hit the television in the latter half of 2016 which didn’t happen. Reportedly 9 volumes of the light novel series were published December 1, 2015, however, ***Exclusive Updates*** reveal that a 10th volume of The Testament of Sister New Devil was released on February 1, 2017. Plot of the Shinmai Maou no Testament
The plot of the series revolves around Toujo Basara who is a first-year high school student, his father asks him if he wants a little sister. And all of a sudden his father adopts two devilishly beautiful daughters. Basara’s father later departed overseas living him with his two step-sisters. The two sisters Mio and Maria aren’t normal human beings they are actually newbie Demon Lord and a succubus!? And when Basara learns about this his worlds turn upside down as now he has to protect him and her sisters from frequent attacks from other demons. Moreover, in the second season, we saw; Basara plans to strengthen up the contract and become more powerful in order to protect himself. Meanwhile, Maria’s sister Rukia shows up in the series filled with the vengeance against Mio.

Shinmai Maou no Testament Season 3 Release Date
The creators have not made any official announcement about the cancellation of the series which itself means the chances of a third season are still good. Moreover, a new edition of the light novel series released on February 1, 2017, will help the writers to pull out some major storyline for another season.
