The Story So Far
The Dragon Prince season 3 considerably increased the stakes when Viren conspired by the evil elf Aaravos and led a troop into Xadia. He also overthrew the Katolis throne. The finale episode of The Dragon Prince season 3- The Final Battle witnessed a big army arriving at the Dragon palace Strom Spire all prepared to start a battle with Callum, Rayla, Ezran, and all other Xadian allies. The battle became brutal, and the Viren forces were just about to be the dominating army when the game changed. The Human detractors came up and joined Xadia allies and took them out.
In the meantime, both Aaravos and Viren were using this battle to get inside the Storm Spire. Their only motive was to take away Zym’s life force. Luckily enough, the young dragon Rayla threw herself and Viren off the Strom Spire. However, Callum saved her before she hit the ground. Viren’s army lost the battle and Viren plunged to his death. Zym’s mother finally woke up from a long sleep and reunited with her son.
By the end of The Dragon Prince Season 3 viewers could believe that things might get better between Humans, dragons and elves. The peace will be restored. However, everything became suspicious when fans saw that Viren’s daughter Claudia had revived her father from death. Aaravos also spun a cocoon around himself and became busy transforming himself into an even evil form.
What Could Happen In The Dragon Prince Season 4
The way Dragon Prince season 3 ended, we think that The Final Battle might not really have been a final battle. More trouble and battles are on the way in The Dragon Prince Season 4. The series will also explore the politics between Xadians, humans, and elves. Along with that fourth season may also explore Sunfire elves that only got into the picture in the third season. Now that Viren is back again, more battles are surely on the way. Season 3 also gave a hint about some suspicious connection between Aaravos and Sunfire elves. This could be another area that can be explored. There might be other hidden stories that The Dragon Prince season 4 might explore. One major blast in season 3 was how Claudia was portrayed, so it will be exciting to watch what she really is in season 4.
Renewed Or Cancelled? Release Date
The Dragon Prince Season 4 has not been renewed yet. The good news here is that it isn’t canceled either. Season 3 left viewers with a lot of questions about the show and the characters. So, it will be unfair to everyone if the show does not get a renewal. However, the show’s co-creator Aaron Ehasz got accused of some harassment case, and this really could affect the show. We hope to get some official news on the show. We can expect a release date only after Netflix renews the show.
