The New Anime Game, ‘One Piece: World Seeker’ has a Release Delayed in 2019

The fans of the anime, One Piece are eagerly waiting for the version of its game, One Piece: World Seeker. The game was initially planned to be released by the fall of 2018, but now the developers have recently reported that the release of the game is delayed to sometime in mid of 2019. Ganbarion initially announced the game in December 2017. The first trailer of the game was released at Jump Festa 2018.

The action-adventure video game is based on the One Piece manga and anime which will feature an open world environment. The game will include the characters from the original manga series such as the entire Straw Hat Crew, Tashigi, Smoker, Sabo, Rob Lucci, Ichiji, Niji, and Yonji. The game will feature third perspective gameplay where the players will be put in the role of Monkey D. Luffy.

One Piece: World Seeker will contain a lot of elements directly from the manga such as Luffy will be able to Observational Haki to see the enemies from behind walls. Moreover, he can use the techniques such as Gum Gum Rocket which allow Luffy to move faster and easier through the open world and attacks like Gum Gum Bazooka, Gum Gum Gatling, Gum Gum Hammer and more.

Bandai Namco has announced the delay of game, One Piece: World Seeker but has not defined any specific reasons for it. If the case is to push the quality control, the fans will be more pleased after the release of the game. The game is set on the Prison Island, also known as the Jail Island and it is located in the “New Wolrd.” According to the Ganvarion and Bandai Namco, the game will reveal the “truth of a tragic event.”
