Netflix finally revealed the release date of The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5. The fans have been waiting to see the fifth season of the show for quite a while. It got delayed because of the global pandemic, but now it will release sooner than anyone expected. The final season of the anime will follow the last 79 chapters of the manga series. It will feature the Holy War Arc. All the demons have returned and formed their clans so that they can start another war. And that means the fans will get to see some really amazing battles, and that too twists and turns. The relationship of Elizabeth and Meliodas will be on the stakes, and that means the latter will go all out to protect her. So, it is likely that in The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5, the viewers will finally see Meliodas in his full demon form.
Netflix released the official synopsis as well for the Dragon’s Judgement along with its trailer. It reads, “Meliodas, Elizabeth, Van, King, Escanor, Gowther, Hawk, Dianne, and Merlin are competing against the flames, a mighty enemy, and a visible representing the members of the Seven Deadly Sins facing their destiny.”
Will There Be Another Season?
As we mentioned above, the fifth season of the anime only has 79 chapters to cover. And that is not enough for producing one more installment after the Dragon’s Judgement. But the ending of its manga left some open threads. And the creators already announced the sequel of this manga series. So, it is likely that the viewers will get the new anime series based on the manga’s sequel plot.
The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5: Release Date
The final season of the anime will premiere this very month. The makers will air the special episode on January 6, 2021. And after one week, the fans will see the premiere episode of The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5 on January 13, 2021. However, its Netflix premiere is yet to be announced by the creators. But it is likely that the fans have to wait at least for the next 5-6 months for it.
