In the third episode of The Slime Diaries, the viewers saw the arrival of the hottest summer in the history of Tempest. Rimuru begins to think about the reasons behind this high temperature and excessive heat. He wonders whether it could’ve been caused by the deforestation done by them while setting up the town. Besides, he also thinks about how he ate Veldora, the storm dragon who is one of the idols of the forest. So, either way, he finds himself responsible for it.
In the latter half, all the residents of Tempest participate in an endurance competition. However, it ends without any winner. Kurobee forged an evil sword for Gobta. Shion and Shuna only took part as they wanted to gain Rimuru’s attention. Soon, Tyreni talks to Rimuru about the hot summer and reveals to him that it wasn’t his fault. Besides, she assures that it is only a matter of time when everything returns back to normal.
