Seven Arcs Pictures’ popular anime series is delayed for an entire year. Yet, there’s still hope for a second season debuting sometime soon. Trinity Seven manga series and anime adaptation are both popular amongst masses in Japan and internationally as well. In fact, its anime movies have added up enough fame to the franchise. But when will the series return?
Trinity Seven Season 2: Confirmed!
Trinity Seven originated as a manga series back in 2010 and became one of the most popular editions of the year. A few years later, Seven Arcs studio decided to pick up the story for an anime adaptation than ran extremely well from October 2014 to December 2014. Fans were pretty sure that the series deserved another chance. To their surprise, the studio created an original video animation (OVA) episode a few months after Season 1. In fact, Seven Arcs also released two anime movies in 2017 and 2019, respectively.
Yet, for long, the producers kept mum about the release of Trinity Seven Season 2. Fortunately, in 2019, the installment was finally confirmed by officials, which was supposed to release on April 11, 2019. However, none of those episodes could ever make it to the screens. On the other hand, neither of the companies related to the production of the show justified any reasons behind the delay. It’s about to be a year, and there’s still no major news related to it.
Will It Ever Come Out?
Fans raised concerns upon the delayed release of Season 2 and questioned if the anime will ever return to the screen. Well, the installment is already confirmed and will premiere even if it takes time. The officials haven’t canceled the anime yet, which suggests that there’s still hope.
On the other hand, the studio has continued to create OVAs and films after the first season. The second movie titled Trinity Seven: Heavens Library & Crimson Lord released at the theatres in March 2019. It became immensely popular amongst the fans of the franchise and received good reviews. Simultaneously, the demand for a second season increased as well.
As of now, Seven Arcs is under enough pressure from fans. Besides, at this point, the second season can turn out to be an even bigger success. Chances suggest that the studio may eventually rope in enough profit from the controversy (delayed-release). Hence, viewers must not lose hope yet, as Trinity Seven Season 2 is quite likely to release sometime soon.
Why Is The Anime Delayed?
The creators of the anime series are yet to speak up about the apparent delay. However, speculations suggest that one of the main reasons behind the delay can be the lack of source material. The first season of the show had only 12 episodes that consumed almost seven volumes of the manga.
However, as per reports, Season 2 may have as high as 24 to 25 episodes this time. Hence, the studio will need even more manga volumes to create this season. As of now, the manga series has a total of 21 published volumes. Moreover, Volume 22 will soon be released on March 9, 2020. The creators will now have nearly enough source material to create a full season. Therefore, Trinity Seven Season 2 might soon get into productions. Although this is yet to be officially confirmed by the studio.
Trinity Seven Season 2: Release Date
As of now, Seven Arcs Pictures is yet to officially announced the actual release date of Trinity Seven Season 2. However, the installment is likely to release sometime soon. If the productions begin this year, fans may get to watch the new episodes as early as the beginning of 2021. We will update this section as soon as a formal date arrives.
