The “Bachelor Party” star Tawny Kitaen is an American Actress, Comedian and Media Personality. Tawny is a nickname the actress started using at the age of 12 on her own. Kitaen was born in 1961, in San Diego, California. She appeared in many Movies, TV Films and Game Shows. Kitaen was one of the biggest stars of the 90s era.

Tawny Kitaen’s Acting Career

Tawny Kitaen’s acting career started in 1983 with a minor role in the television movie Malibu. Then in 1984, Kitaen starred as the main character of the erotic-adventure film “The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik-Yak” which is also known as “Gwendoline”.

Tawny got her big break when she got to play as the bride-to-be of Tom Hanks in the movie “Bachelor Party”. She was also the lead in the film Witchboard, which came in 1986.

These roles established Tawny Kitaen as hot as any woman could be both in appearance and when it came to her career.

Tawny Kitaen always had the advantage of being a beautiful girl in her acting career as this was a priority in the 90s. Although she was a reasonably good actress too and was well-received for her role in Gwendoline and Bachelor Party.

When Kitaen was dating Whitesnake’s lead singer, David Coverdale, she appeared in several videos in the 1980s for the band Whitesnake. She made a presence in the hits “Still of the Night, The Deeper The Love, Here I Go Again, Is This Love.” Kitaen later briefly married with David Coverdale too.

Kitaen also appeared in the famous American Sitcom “Seinfeld” in the 1991 episode “The Nose Job” as Jerry’s girlfriend.

Tawny Kitaen co-hosted America’s Funniest People and had recurring parts in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

Kitaen played a character of a night-time DJ named Mona Loveland for 19 episodes of the TV series The New WKRP in Cincinnati from 1991 to 1993.

Tawny Kitaen also appeared in two of the VH1 Reality Shows namely “The Surreal Life” and “Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew.”

Personal Life Of Kitaen

Kitaen saw a lot of ups and down when it came to her love life. She dated Robbin Crosby during and after high school who was a Ratt guitarist. In the late 1970s, she followed the bands to Los Angeles to seek a career of her own.

Kitaen married David Coverdale the “Whitesnake singer” in 1989. However, this marriage lasted till 1991 when Coverdale and Kitaen took divorce.

Kitaen later married a baseball player Chuck Finley in 1997. The marriage ended in 2002 when Kitaen was accused of domestic violence. Kitaen had kicked in the face of Finley continuously with high-heeled shoes. Tawny Kitaen and Chuck Finley were married for 5 years and had 2 daughters.

Kitaen saw a terrible phase of life from 2006 to 2009. She was charged for possession of 15 grams of cocaine in her San Juan Capistrano home, in 2006. In exchange for the dismissal of a felony drug possession charge, Kitaen entered a six-month rehabilitation program.

In 2009, Kitaen got arrested in Newport Beach, California for “driving under the influence.” Kitaen was sentenced to few days in jail, to do 64 hours of community service and to attend a first offender alcohol program.

Tawny Kitaen is undoubtedly the queen of rise and fall. She saw the prime of her life being successful in movies and TV Shows and also saw the downfall with her love life and drug involvement. However, the Queen is happy about her daughter Raine Finley appearing in Italian Vogue. She expressed her emotions on Twitter saying that she just knew that this will happen. Kitaen also added that she is super excited for her daughter.
