Many of us have known Austin Butler and Zendaya since their Disney days. The two have grown up together since they entered the entertainment industry. It is remarkable to see their inspiring journey since their starting days. But hearing Austin Butler’s stories of the pair growing up together is more impressive.
Recently, Butler seems to be inspired by his Dune co-star, as he had some things to say about her in his recent interview. On Monday, Austin Butler made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Though Zendaya was supposed to join him during the interview, she could not because she was unwell.
Austin revealed his co-star had completely lost her voice. Despite that, Zendaya attended the Dune screening the night before. That’s why Austin praised her by saying she was “such a trouper.” Not only this, but Austin Butler also called Zendaya a “queen” for her spirit and determination.
Fans of the two were happy to see Austin’s praises for Zendaya. As the show progressed, Jimmy Fallon asked Austin whether he met Zendaya on the Disney channel. To this, Dune star replied by saying that the two kind of overlapped when they were younger.
For the unversed, Zendaya and Austin started their careers with Disney sitcoms. The Euphoria actress played lead roles in shows like K.C. Undercover and Shake It Up. At the same time, Austin Butler made a few appearances in Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventures. Besides this, he has also done some shows on Nickelodeon.
The interview was part of the Dune: Part Two press tour. Dune sequel is one of the most anticipated movies of all time. The film’s cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem. Each cast member will be reprising their role from the previous film. However, Austin Butler is the new addition to the cast.
As for its synopsis, Dune: Part 2 follows the character Paul Atreides, who unites with the Fremen people to seek revenge against those responsible for destroying his family. The film picks up where the first left off, with Paul becoming more involved with the Fremen culture and forming a romantic relationship with Chani.
He also faces a difficult decision regarding his allegiance to the Fremen and his marriage to Princess Irulan. The plot culminates with Paul drinking the Water of Life, gaining newfound powers, and embarking on a quest to prevent a terrible future he has foreseen.
