All the General Hospital fans, we have a new update for you. While we would have loved to say it is some good news, it really isn’t. One of your favorite actors on GH- Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) has tested Covid positive. With the new variant of Covid around, cases have been rising and Kelly has contracted it now.
It is not the first time that Kelly has been quarantined, but this is the first time that she has actually tested positive! GH Fans would recall that In April 2021, one of her COVID tests came back negative, but the other gave a positive result, so she was unable to work at the Hospital for ten days.
Kelly shared on January 12, 2022, that she has been battling Coronavirus. Kelly took to Twitter to share the news herself. She said, “Getting COVID has given me a lot of things, good and bad,” the actress tweeted. “One good has been the time to finally binge GAME OF THRONES. I do really wish I would’ve watched this with the rest of the world.”
Thiebaud naturally received many good wishes of speedy recovery and comments filled with sympathy and love. As of now, there is no word on how severe it is or how it will impact her filming schedule. General Hospital fans can just hope that she can get Britt back to mixing it up with Austin and Brad very soon.
Kelly isn’t the only GH star who has been tested Covid positive this time. A few days ago, GH star Kirsten Storms,
Kelly is needed back on sets for other assorted hospital dramas too. So tell us in the comments below how excited are you to see Britt back. Until then, Stay tuned. Tv Seasons & Spoilers are your one-stop for all soap-related updates. General Hospital airs on CBS all weekdays.
