Brook And Maxie Had Been Keeping A Secret
GH viewers who have been keeping up with the soap know that Brook was raising Maxie’s child Louise. She told everyone that the baby was her and Valentin’s daughter “Bailey.” Both Maxie and Brook had been keeping this secret, and they were almost able to make everyone believe this.
But then things changed when Gladys Corbin overheard them. Maxie and Brook were talking about how Valentin isn’t “Bailey’s” father. While Gladys didn’t know that Brook herself hadn’t birthed this child, the news that Valentin wasn’t “Bailey’s” baby daddy was enough. So, she blabbed the truth. And now, Valentin is heartbroken.
The only good thing in this whole situation was that Chase was able to figure out that “Bailey” and Louise are the same child. He understood that Brook and Maxie did what they did to keep the baby safe from Peter. So, he stepped up to keep her safe too. When Valentin came to know that he wasn’t the baby daddy, Chase stepped up as the baby daddy. He made everyone believe that he and Brook had a night of passion, and “Bailey” was the product of that.
