As per SoapDirt, Cross’s first case is from 1999 as she was under arrest for ‘manufacturing/selling/ dispensing drugs’. Then, she was found guilty of these charges in February 2000. Apparently, she had more than one ounce of Marijuana with her, and she got off easy with a $750 fine and probation worth 12 months.

Back in 2006, the 1000 Lb Best Friends star and her friend April also ended up avoiding ‘grand jury indictment’ for several charges. In fact, this included meth possession under “obtaining a controlled substance through fraud.” It turns out they had the charge of obtaining ‘Lortab’ via fake prescriptions written to others. A year later, in 2007, Vanessa was in trouble again for “impersonating an officer.” Looks like she ended up calling a physician’s office as a “narcotics detective”. However, the Georgia native ended up accusing her friend April of this said crime.
