The Slaton Sisters are set to appear in the upcoming season of 1000 Lb Sisters. The fourth installment will premiere on January 17, 2023. However, Amy Slaton might not be a major part of the show this time due to her responsibilities as a mother. She does not want her children to face setbacks and be labeled as bad mothers. Amy and her husband, Michael, are parents to two sons, Glenn and Gage. They welcomed Gage in 2020 and Glenn in July 2022. Amy had several health issues due to her weight which were health hazards for pregnancy. However, the 1000 Lb Sisters star lost weight and got approved for weight loss surgery. Amy got her bariatric surgery done and after which she could bear healthy children without major health issues. She is a mother to two kids now and leading a happy life with them. Although, there is something that has taken over the mother of two. Glenn and Gage Halterman are unwell and require prayers to recover, as per tvshowsace.

Glenn and Gage are infected with the Respiratory Syncytial Virus, also known as RSV. According to Mayo Clinic, RSV causes infection of the lungs and respiratory tract. The sickness majorly affects children and can be health hazardous. Although the cases are usually mild and require home treatment, they can worsen enough to hospitalize the patient. The 1000 Lb Sisters star took to Instagram to share an update on her life. Amy Slaton posted a picture of her youngest son, Glenn, and wrote a little caption. She posted a post to wish her youngest son, Glenn, who turned five months old.

In the caption, the 1000 Lb Sisters celeb expressed how quickly her sons have grown. Amy, her husband, Michael, and elder brother, Gage, love him, Amy added. She is honored that her sons chose Amy to be their mom. Amy concluded that they find a way to smile even when they are sick (boys have rsvp). She also wished for them to recover soon. In the picture, Glenn was wearing a coordinating sweatshirt and pants with little seagull prints on them. However, Amy has not shared the severity of RSV in her sons.

RSV is a scary disease and has the potential to take lives, especially in small children. Despite the scare crowding Amy and her husband, Michael Halterman, fans have wished them the best. Many mothers even confessed how scared they were after listening to the sad news. Fans are scared for the little children because of RSV.
