1000 Lb Sisters: Amy Slaton Taken To Hospital Amid Pregnancy Pain And An Incessant Crying!
The 1000 Lb Sisters stars are struggling with obesity and have several health issues, especially Tammy. However, Amy worked majorly towards her health and shed 136 pounds before she had her first child, Gage Halterman. People who follow the show would know that Amy Slaton always wanted a family and worked hard. However, she got pregnant again two years after her first child. However, this time the doctors warned her that she was obese and could have health impacts and other pregnancy complications. Amy and Miachel Halterman announced the pregnancy last year with a picture of an ultrasound and a positive pregnancy test.
The couple was happy though things did not go smoothly for Amy. In the teaser video, Amy could be seen crying, admitting that she was in a lot of pain. Other shots showed her sobbing and everyday visits to the hospital where she could be seen lying in pain. The 1000 Lb Sisters star claimed that things took a turn for the worst. Gladly, the mother of two surpassed a hard time and had a healthy baby boy, Glenn Allen Halterman, on July 5, 2022. The little one weighed 5lbs 11oz and measured about 11.5 inches long at birth.
Amy took to Instagram to announce the news and posted a picture on the hospital bed holding Glenn along with Michael. Other images had him lying and being held by his elder brother, Gage. Since then, Amy hasn’t been on rest. The reality-tv star posts several pictures of her babies, especially the newborn. One of the pictures showed Gage protectively hugging his little brother. 1000 Lb Sisters fans loved the picture and were in absolute ‘aww’ of it. Other images celebrated his monthly birthdays.

While Amy Slaton went a little MIA after having two babies, probably because of the added responsibility, Tammy has her story. The latter’s health could be seen worsening in the teaser. In fact, her lungs had stopped responding. Doctors had to surgically insert a pipe through her neck and windpipe to keep her breathing. Further, the younger Slaton sister could be heard saying that Tammy’s body was shutting down. Fortunately, the elder one made it and is healthier than before.
The 1000 Lb Sister, Tammy, has lost significant weight, as fans could see in her recent Tik Tok video. She underwent gastric surgery and survived well through it. The trailer also showed Tammy coming out to her family about the new guy in her life, now her husband, Caleb Willingham.
