1000 Lb Sisters: After A Scary Fan Encounter, Amy Shares A Warning On Her Instagram

TLC stars Amy and Tammy Slaton have gained much popularity ever since they debuted on television. The sisters have become celebrities around the country and especially in the state of Kentucky. Hence, fans often approach them and their family for pictures. Well, as Amy suggests, she and her husband, Michael Halterman, are open to being approached for photos. Even in the past, she has been quite understanding for her fanbase.

However, it seems like the 33-year-old came across a scary encounter with a fan. She posted a story on her Instagram talking about her privacy and how fans should approach her. TVshowsace points out that Amy started her video with a super friendly attitude. In fact, she even thanked her followers for sending gifts and good wishes for their newborn son Gage Halterman. However, the mood of the video soon escalates to a serious one.

Amy warns that even though she’s fine with taking pictures with fans, they shouldn’t come to their house. She also asked viewers to not send stuff to their house. The 1000 Lb Sisters star makes it clear that they have a P.O. box for a reason, and fans should use that instead of sending things directly to her address. Moreover, Slaton also adds that it feels extremely disrespectful and unsafe. Besides, their house should feel like a ‘home’ that is safe for her family, including four-month-old Gage.

There is a possibility that Amy recently encountered a fan that crossed their boundaries and stopped at their house without permission. Moreover, there could be a chance that some fan sent something at Halterman’s address which felt disrespectful. Now that Amy has warned her fans, it’s likely that such incidents will decrease in the coming future.
