In an exclusive sneak peek from TLC of the upcoming 1000 Lb Sisters episode, Amy Slaton had a breaking point with Tammy. The sisters are seen meeting at a coffee shop to discuss the former’s infamous arrest last September. Amy explained to Tammy that it’s sometimes overwhelming for her to be around her siblings.
Amy then called herself “independent,” making it clear to Tammy that she was good on her own. In response, the older sister confessed that Amy was becoming crazier than ever since many things were spiraling out of control. According to her, the arrest didn’t make her little sister independent.
So, Tammy wanted Amy to wake up and not be silly or in denial about the bad situation. As the Slatons were spending some time together, the latter said that she was just trying to take care of her children more. She seemed not to welcome the same trouble again. She assumed that she would be losing her sons.
Truly, Amy’s arrest sparked an emotional collapse in the clip. To Tammy, the incident was far scarier, so she couldn’t imagine how everything was for Amy. At this point, the mom of two couldn’t hold back and began shedding tears. She wiped her eyes with shaky hands.
