1000 Lb Sisters stars Tammy and Amy Slaton returned to the Kentucky dump yard that changed everything. They used to weigh themselves on the site during their most humble weight loss journeys. Tammy had lost enormous weight in four years, while Amy could only shed a little bit. Still, the Slatons are quite into knowing how heavy they are now.
Tammy’s skin removal surgery gave her a new life because she got rid of the loose skin on her neck, face, and belly. She had the best plastic surgeon to define her jawline uniquely. Meanwhile, Amy focused on her relationship with boyfriend Brian and how they could tie the knot in a haunted venue. Sadly, her family gave her a big no for the wedding.

1000 Lb Sisters: Tammy & Amy Aren’t On Good Terms Anymore!?
Tammy and Amy Slaton almost became head-to-head in Season 7 of 1000 Lb Sisters. The latter confronted the former through the TLC confessional about why she has been so judgmental of her lately. Tammy interfered as an elder sister regarding her weight gain and marriage plans. She felt her duty was to show her little sister the right path.
Throughout the new season, fans noticed how lost Amy was. She cried inconsolably, sometimes with reasons and other times without any. The reality star kept saying that she canceled her wedding to Brian for Tammy and the other siblings. But Tammy tried to make her understand that it was for her since the asylum wasn’t an ideal location to marry. She also pushed her to lose weight through mindful eating.
1000 Lb Sisters: The Slaton Sisters’ Trip Down Memory Lane Makes Them Emotional!
An exclusive clip from TLC on their official Instagram page revealed Amy and Tammy Slaton’s revisit to the old scrapyard. Some throwback scenes showed them asking the owner of the S&S Salvage, Ronnie, to help them measure their weight. They told him that since they are overweight, they can’t step on a regular scale.
Ronnie understood Tammy and Amy’s issues and allowed them to carry on. Shockingly, Amy weighed 406 pounds while Tammy hit above 600 pounds. Amy wept silently, saying she was embarrassed. Though it happened six years ago, she felt bad about how she used to look. The trip back to the same spot made them recall how far they had come in their journeys.
Tammy said she was happy with her improvements and urged Amy to feel the same way about her own body. During the initial days of their weight loss journeys, both of them attempted to get approval for gastric bypass surgery. Back then, Ronnie was glad to serve the TLC stars. Yet again, he got the chance.
This time, the reunion brought Amanda, Misty, and Chris together for Amy and Tammy. Ronnie appeared pleased with the girls, asking how much weight they could drop in these years. The recent measurement revealed that Amy is now just 249 pounds, while Tammy’s weight wasn’t shown on screen, but she previously shared that she is 201 pounds.
