In a clip, Chris and Misty discussed what went down in the group chat. They woke up to almost 140 text messages in the group chat between Amy and Tammy. 1000 Lb Sisters: The Reason Behind the Feud Between The Sisters Is Out

The feud between the sisters started in the last season of 1000 Lb Sisters. While Tammy was getting skin removal surgery, Amy left the hospital. This upset Tammy, and later she confronted Amy about it. Amy shed tears during the confrontation. This was a turning point in their relationship as Tammy felt Amy wasn’t there for her at a crucial moment. What followed was a series of emotional disagreements and creeping jealousy.

While both sisters lost significant weight, Tammy’s success was more visible. Her weight loss left everyone in awe, and that was all anyone could talk about. This made Amy jealous of all the attention Tammy was getting. At least that’s what Chris thought. Tammy, on the other hand, embraced independence and chose an adulting life. She is often short-tempered with Amy. Many factors led to the sisterly feud.

Tammy And Amy Escalate Feud Over Text Chat, Insult Each Other In The Group Chat On 1000 Lb Sisters

On 1000 Lb Sisters, Amy and Tammy fired off insults at each other over text in the family group chat. Early morning, around 5, they fought over canceled plans. Amy canceled the plan to visit the animal shelter because of her PTSD. She was bitten by a camel in 2024, which made her afraid to stay on the plane. When she informed Tammy, all hell broke loose.

Tammy called Amy an immature child for claiming not to be around big animals. [ I ]got PTSD from the camel.” This made Tammy upset. She texted back, ” Then b—h, if you don’t wanna go to the animal shelter, then don’t f—ing go. Grow up”. Additionally, Tammy reasoned, “You can go to a f—ing pet store and get 12 cats, but you can’t go to an animal shelter where everything’s in cages. You’re a f—ing child.”

Amy stated that she is only sharing her anxiety with Tammy and that the latter does not need to be mean about it. Tammy said that she is over Amy’s bulls&*t. Tammy also called her sister an “immature f**king child,” and asked her to grow up. Amy and Tammy then called each other names in the 140-message chain.

The exchange quickly devolved into vicious name-calling, much of it blurred by TLC because of its explicit nature. In the censored messages, Tammy appeared to hurl a crude insult at Amy, accusing her of sleeping around and suggesting she rushed into marriage because no one besides Brian would want her.
