1000 Lb Sisters: Nurse Tisa Encourages Tammy To Walk To The Mailbox!
In the recent episode, Tisa talked to the grumpy Slaton about what they will do for the day. While the TLC personality initially sounded a bit excited, her excitement dropped after Tisa’s suggestion. The nurse encouraged Tammy to walk to the mailbox with her as the weather seemed pleasant. However, it quickly changed her mood, and she started throwing her temper. Tammy refused to leave her wheelchair at any cost. But Tisa, on the other hand, was hoping to make her move at least an inch.
Tisa added that Tammy promised to listen to her words. The nurse told her that she would make her bed to make everything fair enough. Till then, she had to decide what she wanted to do. But 1000 Lb Sisters star firmly announced that she didn’t want to leave her wheelchair. When the nurse returned after making her bed, Slaton denied going outside. As for Nurse Tisa, she believes Tammy is scared of embarrassment, and that’s why she doesn’t want to go.
But the main reason that Tammy refused is that she couldn’t handle the pain. She also pointed that her nurse had no idea about her pain tolerance. Further, she doesn’t know what Slaton has been through and how much struggle it takes to stand and go to the bathroom. But some of the show’s fans supported Tisa. “The nurse is a saint, she is so patient and encouraging,” one said. Another follower added, “Bless the nurse aid! Tammy’s attitude is sickening! I bet if that man asked her to walk she would.”
1000 Lb Sisters: Tammy Again Gained 15 Lb Weight!
Everyone is familiar with Tammy’s bad attitude and her negligence to work on her health. One such case is when she left the rehab center as she was homesick. After losing only 60 Lb, she thought that she could work independently as she already knew which exercises she wanted to follow. But everything changed when she visited her bariatric surgeon, Dr. Eric Smith. She learned she gained around 15 lbs in her second weigh-in instead of losing some.
Well, her half-brother was already aware of it. Chris Combs had also blamed Tammy’s current boyfriend for this weight gain. He stated that her new man likes women over 300 Lb, which might be why she doesn’t want to lose an inch. Meanwhile, Tammy confessed that she hated it when she gained this much. Dr. Smith has also shown his concern and cited he knew this was coming.
