Things have changed drastically for Tammy Slaton this year. She experienced a lot of learning lessons and joy when she was in rehab. Not only did she get her bariatric surgery, but she also found the love of her life, Caleb Willingham. Alas, she also underwent an unfortunate loss when she sadly lost her husband only after a few months of marriage.
But after getting out of the rehab, Tammy was ready to turn over a new leaf. So, she moved into a new Kentucky house. Viewers were proud of her for being self-dependent all over again. But it looks like that isn’t the case anymore. Unfortunately, the 1000 Lb Sisters star had to move out of her residence as it was a rental in her sister, Amanda Halterman’s name.
As per TheSun, the sisters feuded a lot to the point Tammy thought it would be best to move out. They also mentioned how she is now living with her half-brother, Chris Combs, and his wife, Brittany. Their place is apparently 38 miles away from Tammy’s previous home. While she is willing to invest in a property, there is no confirmation when that will happen.
Fans already know how Tammy never got along with her sister Amanda. There had been instances of their fights on the show, especially when they went on vacation. More sources revealed how the filming crew had to take a break only because Tammy and Amanda’s fights got way out of hand. They were also at it during Caleb’s funeral.

While Tammy has been going through a lot of problems lately, she got a warm welcome in the premiere episode of 1000 Lb Sisters after coming from rehab. The new season was filmed earlier in 2023 and has been showcasing these segments that are months old. In the episode, fans also got to see Amy’s willingness to bring her elder sister home and help out.
This upset the fans and made them quite angry, too. They were tired of Amy Slaton always babying her sister. The audience thought it was high time Tammy learned to take care of her own self. At first, too much weight had made her quite immobile. But that wasn’t the case anymore, as she was out of rehab.
