The latest 1000 Lb Sisters episode had a segment with Tammy and Amy Slaton. Together the sisters talked about the former’s dating life. The elder sibling came clean to the latter and said she and Phillip are no longer together. The TLC celebrity discovered her former lover on Tik-Tok. Together, they made a bunch of videos on the platform, and love blossomed among the two. However, like most men in Tammy’s life, he, too, was toxic. That’s because he had a fetish for big women. Therefore, he would have deviated the star away from her weight loss journey had they been together for long.
TV Season & Spoilers exclusively reported that the couple broke up around August this year. This led to the Slaton sibling deleting her social media for a while, along with the pictures of the former couple. Moreover, they were really serious in their short-lived relationship as there were rumors about their engagement. The 35-year-old even fought with her family for her then-boyfriend. In fact, she was even willing to travel to Las Vegas to meet her beau. But, alas, it all came to an end merely after a few months.
In the clip, Amy patiently listens to her sister. Then, Tammy disclosed that they separated because her insecurities were “too much” for the Tik-Tok star. Hence, he wasn’t willing to work with her to get better at dealing with them. Hearing this, the younger sibling tried to motivate her. She suggested that her sibling should take all that pain and use it to get better and in good shape for the surgery. The new mom urged her sister to show some “real progress” in terms of shedding weight.

Apart from her deteriorating mental health, Tammy hasn’t been physically well. Once her breakup was on the cards with Philip, aka BBW King, she returned to social media to make some alarming posts. One of her Tik Tok videos featured the Slaton sister singing a song that stated she is “f*cking depressed”. Moreover, in her health update video from November, she talked of struggling with her mental health. In fact, the cast member put a pause on shooting 1000 Lb Sisters for a little while due to it.
In the video, she talked about having carbon dioxide poisoning. Hence, she was admitted to the hospital for the same. The TLC celebrity also underwent Tracheotomy so she could breathe better. Unfortunately, she hasn’t been home since Thanksgiving. The TV star talked of strictly shedding weight after such a health scare. Henceforth, she got shifted to a nursing facility for the same.
