Tammy Slaton has become quite famous since her 1000 Lb Sisters journey began. Unfortunately, it was for all things bad. That’s because she weighed 50 lbs more as the season progressed. The viewers despised her for not focussing on her weight loss and relapsing constantly. However, things took a drastic turn. A year ago, Tammy had to go to the hospital after carbon dioxide poisoning almost took her life. Since then, she began wearing a trachea tube. The celebrity also went to a specialized rehab to get sorted properly this time, and her weight loss journey finally began.
However, Tammy has been very private about her weight loss journey. That’s because she and the rest of the 1000 Lb Sisters stars are under contract with TLC. Hence, they are not allowed to give out information about their weight loss progress. Yet, the famous sibling took to her Tiktok to share a random video doing a trend. But, fans were quick to notice Tammy’s slimmed-out face. Although Tammy made sure her body was not visible, a viewer stated she was proud of the celebrity as she could tell Slaton lost a “lot of weight”. 1000 Lb Sister: Amy Slaton Halterman Won’t Return For A New Season?
Apart from Tammy, her sister Amy is also the main cast member. Viewers have seen her overcome and achieve a lot of things in 1000 Lb Sisters. First, she was successful in qualifying for bariatric surgery and losing a lot of weight. However, she instantly got pregnant not once but twice. Hence, this has again hindered her weight loss journey. It turns out that Amy had stated that she would appear in the new season less frequently now. That’s because the star was pregnant with her second baby during the time of the filming. Hence, it’s fair for her to focus on resing and not consume herself with filming.
Apart from this, Amy mentioned the importance of motherhood in her life. Therefore, her first and foremost priority is to give all her time to her baby boys, Glenn and Gage. This kept her from filming for the show. The audience worried that she might bid goodbye to the show soon. However, there has been no such announcement from either Amy or the TV network.
