Fans were always curious about Trent and Amber’s reaction to Liz’s pregnancy. The trailer did show a glimpse of it, and the reaction was something. The grandparents had some concerns about the pregnancy. They are now sharing these in an interview.
7 Little Johnstons: Why Were Amber & Trent Worried About Liz’s Pregnancy?
Amber and Trent are the mom and dad of the Johnston family. They try to be there for all their kids, like every other parent. But 7 Little Johnstons fans have also seen them go overboard sometimes. The two are very strict about their kids’ dating and relationships. But somehow, Liz was able to get out of this, date Brice, and have a baby with him!
The new season trailer shows a small clip of Liz’s pregnancy reveal. She told Trent and Amber about it, and they weren’t happy. They also had some concerns, which they shared more about in an interview. The grandparents were really happy about being grandparents, or Boppa and Lolli, as they call themselves. But the truth was, it wasn’t a smooth road.
Amber opened up more about the pair’s worries. She was happy that her daughter did not have to worry about “double dominance.” Brice doesn’t have achondroplasia dwarfism, so the baby’s chances of being a little person were less. However, those weren’t the only “risks.” There are “risks with every pregnancy,” be it Liz’s case or otherwise.
Further in the interview, Amber shared that she and Trent were worried about “prenatal care.” The 7 Little Johnston pair knew “Liz waited 21 weeks to tell” them. However, gender wasn’t a concern. But Amber did mention they were excited to “find out if the baby was average or little.”

While initially they were worried about the pregnancy, Amber and Trent came around. And now the 7 Little Johnstons pair are proud Boppa and Lolli. Trent had even happily announced his title in the video. But Amber gave a more critical analysis in a good way.
Amber revealed that having all the people in the house was a challenge with the baby. But this was also a blessing, as even the kids could enjoy the newborn’s presence. The Johnston pair was just happy to have their “grandbaby” around and be there for her milestones.
