In the confessional, Liz said she was happy as her family knows about the big news. She admitted it had been her goal to buy a house since their daughter, Leighton, turned one. ​Now that 7 Little Johnstons stars Liz and Brice have bought their own house, the couple is having some critical discussions. Recently, Hollywood Access shared an exclusive clip, in which the pair talked about whether Liz should consider being a stay-at-home mom. Brice told his wife that he wanted her to be at home as much as possible, saying it would be ideal for their daughter, Leighton.

Liz asked if he would be okay with her being a SAHM. She continued that “it is hard for her to swallow” because she used to contribute her fair share. She was referring to their finances and how much she provided. Brice quickly responded that he would definitely be okay with that. In the confessional, Liz said that for nearly a year, the couple has been saving money.

“And now, since we officially bought a home, we are kind of revisiting whether or not I should be a stay-at-home mom,” she added. Liz said that it seems to be the direction they are leaning. Back in the scene, Brice told her she would be a great SAHM. However, Liz didn’t seem completely sure. She added that it will be a significant change, but it was the best for her and Leighton. The couple is excited for this new chapter in their lives.
