7 Little Johnstons: Jonah Announces His New Job News; Amber Is Not So Happy
TLC recently released a new sneak peek of 7 Little Johnstons, where Jonah announced the new job news to his parents. He made Amber and Trent sit down and then described how he went to the interview at the car dealership. Jonah said, “I got to meet one-on-one with the general manager of the dealership.”
And just two hours after the interview, Jonah got a call from the car dealership informing him that he has been selected. Amber and Trent got excited when they heard that their son got a full-time job. However, they weren’t happy when they heard it was for a sales manager at a car dealership.
Amber’s main concern about Jonah’s new job was that he couldn’t get a fixed paycheck every month. Instead, his salary will be dependent on how many cars he sells. Amber stated in a confessional, “This is not the way that I wanted you to start, you know, with the job on your own because you need a steady income coming in every single month.”
Amber wants her son to have a job with a fixed income so as to manage his budget. Jonah is well aware that his parents didn’t want him to have a full-time job with commission. However, he also knows that if he works hard at what he’s got, then he will get enough commission to make his living.
7 Little Johnstons: Trent Thinks Jonah’s New Job Is A Good Start For Him
Even though Jonah will not have a steady income, he is grateful even to get a job. The star revealed to his parents that he will have to test drive cars at his new job. Moreover, the one who offered him the opportunity will also provide him temporary accommodation. Also, the automobile group has no problem with Jonah’s dwarfism. Well, that seems not to be normal for everyone because of people’s less knowledge about the little ones. Trent said, “It really sounds like this automotive group that he is working for is a large automotive group.” Moreover, Jonah’s father is happy that his new job is very accepting of him. Trent thinks that it’s a good start for his son’s career.
Jonah then explained how he asked his manager whether there will be deterrence or fear in customers’ eyes when they see him. And Jonah’s manager’s reply was most satisfying to both Amber and Trent. He said that it’s totally up to the customers how they see Jonah. Moreover, Amber is happy that her son accepts the way he is. She explained that she and Trent both faced odd looks when they first started their job. Amber knows that the customers will question his son for his physical appearance. However, she wants her son to say, “this is how I drive; let’s hop in, and let’s go for a test.” Fans are also excited to see Jonah starting his new job.
