7 Little Johnstons: Trent Has A Blurred Vision?
In an exclusive clip shared by TLC on Instagram, 7 Little Johnstons star Trent Johnston continued undergoing medical tests, and his eye doctor confirmed his health issue. When it was time for the results, ophthalmologist Dr. Hinson informed him that he had been diagnosed with Keratoconus, which is blurry vision. He described it to him as “irregularity on the cornea.”
It’s actually an enfeebled spot in Trent’s cornea that caused his eyeballs to have an egg shape. Hilson revealed the scary results as they sat beside each other in the exam room to review the reports. Sadly, Trent’s condition has made his eyes look like balloons. That push he is feeling in his eyes has basically distorted his vision.
Dr. Hilson noted that Trent’s glasses weren’t working and suggested the best treatment. According to him, his patient would need to switch to hard lenses from glasses to see the clearest. The hard lenses are ideal for sitting perfectly in the area, making the eyeballs round. Showing his eye scans, he told him, “can definitely be causing distortion in your vision.”
This consultation with the eye doctor has led Trent to say that it’s his very time that a doctor talked about his Astigmatism. By calling the condition bad, he hoped it wasn’t causing vertigo or other eye movement issues. “But either way, it’s not good for me,” he added.
