The Johnston family recently welcomed their little bundle of joy, Leighton Drew Bolden. She was born on November 3, 2023. The fans rejoiced when Liz announced her pregnancy, and then they celebrated the baby’s birth. However, many 7 Little Johnstons fans wondered what Trent and Amber’s stance was on all of this. Did they accept it as a fact, or did they argue with Liz?
Fortunately, the new season might answer these questions. The trailer teased all the things that were about to come, and one of them was Liz’s pregnancy. Brice was nervous about breaking the news, but they ultimately did it. Trent’s disappointment was clear. But he was also worried for his daughter. Financial concerns were obvious, but the parents about their daughter’s child-birth.
Trent and Amber had expressed their worries to Liz. In a confessional, Amber even revealed that Liz’s pregnancy is high-risk. Trent further explained to Brice that Liz had achondroplasia dwarfism, meaning she had a small pelvis bone. The small pelvis bone made the pregnancy dangerous and high-risk.
Since Brice was the father, Trent wanted to prepare him for what would come. He revealed that Liz’s achondroplasia dwarfism meant that she would need to have a C-section delivery. In the last shot of the trailer, the Johnstons were running out of the house with bags and supplies. Apparently, “it was time” for the baby to come!

Fans were eager for the next season. And now they have the new Season 14 trailer. 7 Little Johnstons returns to the TV screens on March 12. And the trailer promises a season full of fun family moments and the arrival of the newest Johnston.
Besides Liz’s pregnancy, the trailer also showed glimpses of Amber and Trent’s 25th Anniversary celebration. Then there were Alex and Emma, who got to experience high school and all that their senior year had to offer. Not far behind was another Johnston daughter, Anna. Anna became the first Johnston child to own a house.
