Over years, almost all 7 Little Johnstons cast members have become fan-favorites and receive love every time a new season gets on TV. The kids are now grown-ups, and with Elizabeth, they’d all soon move out of their parents’ house. Besides, some of them even have love interests now. 7 Little Johnstons: All We Know About Jonah Johnston’s Girlfriend!
Trent and Ember Johnston are known to be the strict parents that their kids almost hate. But a lot of fans agree that they have always guarded their children and have been grooming them to face the world as little people. Amid this, they not only judge the careers that their kids choose, but also their relationships. In the previous season, a lot of viewers hated how involved the parents were getting in Elizabeth’s relationship with her boyfriend, Brice. Over time, they grew closer to him, but their invasiveness led to Elizabeth deciding to move out.
Well, when Jonah’s partner, Ashley, was introduced in an episode, she took a while to fit in the dynamic. Even though they still were pretty judgmental, Trent and Amber did not get as comfortable with her initially, as they did with Brice. Ashley’s personality also seemed to be a little reserved than other members of the family. So she took time to fit in. Yet, Amber and all the fans eventually understood that Jonah seems to have genuine feelings for her. Now the only problem in their relationship is the long distance.
Ashley, who seems to be almost around her boyfriend’s age, doesn’t live in Georgia. She is from North Carolina, so the pair doesn’t get to spend a lot of time together. Jonah’s girlfriend visits his hometown often but it still doesn’t seem to be enough for either of them. A lot wasn’t revealed in the new season, but it seems like Jonah has known her for a long time. He even has pictures with her from a couple of years ago on his Instagram. However, the Johnston parents still think that the couple is moving too fast in their relationship.
7 Little Johnstons: Did Jonah & His Girlfriend Move In Together?
Like Elizabeth, the rest of the Johnston kids had also been eager to move out of their strict parents’ house. However, Jonah seems to be the most desperate ones to do so. He and Ashley had been planning to move in together, as they expressed in the previous season. But they couldn’t because Amber and Trent disagreed with the idea and thought that the couple is taking it too fast. They had also wanted Jonah to pick up a proper job before he even thinks of moving out at all.
Well, even though Jonah got a job for himself, his parents rejected it. They wanted their son to pursue a career that would ensure him a secured future and has a fixed paycheck. Even though Jonah was keen to pick up this new job, both Trent and Amber were still against it all. In the end, the oldest Johnston kid said that he’d prove his parents wrong. Now, it seems like he eventually picked up that job as per his Linkedin profile. On the other hand, things seem to be fine between his girlfriend and the rest of the family. This is because she was seen in a group picture of the family on their Instagram.
