The official website and Twitter account of 86 Eight-Six released a statement that revealed that the new episode of the series would not release this week. Instead of 86 Eighty-Six Episode 19, the officials will release a special episode titled “If it’s worth dying.” The fans aren’t very excited about the special programming because they were anticipating the release of a canon episode.
As we mentioned above, the first season finale is quite close, and the storyline is at its peak now. The 18th episode also faced a delay, and hence the fans of this show are pretty frustrated. They are also angry because the animation quality of the second season has reduced significantly even after all these delays. They think if the studio is taking a break or extra time, they can at least provide an episode with decent animation in it. Hence, now they are expecting animation quality to improve upon the return of this anime.

In the 18th episode of 86 Eighty-Six, the viewers saw Nordlicht getting prepared for the mission. Meanwhile, Grethe filed a petition to allow the use of “Nachzehre.” It is a prototype ground effect airplane. They will use it to transport the units instead of slow and vulnerable helicopters. Grethe himself came forward to become the pilot for this prototype. Frederica tried to convince Shin not to go on this mission. She is afraid that Shin might lose his life on this one. However, Shin doesn’t listen to her and is ready for the mission.
Zimerman expressed his desire to see everyone coming back home safely after completing this mission. On the other hand, the Federacy began to assault the Legion in order to cause a distraction. It opened a hole in the defensive perimeter of Legion that allowed Nachzehrer to launch.

This week on November 28, the fans will see a special program because of a production delay in the canon episode of the series. Now, 86 Eighty-Six Episode 19 will release on Saturday, December 4, 2021. The rescheduled episode will be available to stream on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
