Ariela Weinberg has made a name for herself after starring in the 90 Day Fiance. In fact, she and her partner Biniyam Shibre are now the new stars of the original series. As viewers have seen the woman for so many years on screen, they know her quite well. Apparently, fans think she quite high maintenance and materialistic. 90 Day Fiance: Ariela Recalls House Fire Incident, Her Family Was Left With Nothing!
Ariela Weinberg and her parents seemed quite stern when they made their 90 Day Fiance debut. That’s because they weren’t happy with Biniyam’s living conditions. This happened when she moved to Ethiopia to raise their baby. Later on, all of them moved to a much bigger house in Season 3. However, it seems like there is more to the family that the camera doesn’t see. Apparently, Ariela took to her social media to share a heart-wrenching post on her Instagram handle.
It turns out the house she lived in in 2009 caught dryer fire. As a result, it “engulfed” the entire house. While saying so, Ariela also put up pictures of the incident. Although a fire department was there for damage control, they couldn’t save much. In fact, it took them “hours” to get it under control. Moreover, the young mother stated that it was her “childhood home,” and her family lost “everything”. Unfortunately, the tragic happening affected her mother the most.
That’s not all. Ariela’s cat also lost its life to “smoke inhalation” as the poor creature was inside the burning house. At last, the 90 Day Fiance star concluded the post by saying she doesn’t understand why these things happen. Although it’s been years since the incident, the memory remains “raw” in her mind.
90 Day Fiance: Ariela’s Family Went Bankrupt!
The abovementioned incident isn’t the first where Ariela’s family had to undergo tough times. Seemingly, her parents Fred and Janice, ended up filing for bankruptcy in 2019. Apparently, it was the result of lots of credit card debt and mortgage debt. However, the court closed the initial case in 2015, as per Starcasm, and they couldn’t follow through with their bankruptcy plan. As a result, they still had a lot of money to settle in 2016. Unfortunately, the couple couldn’t clear their debts.
Later on, Janice and Fred Weinberg had another case under their name from their mortgage company. Therefore, they had to file for bankruptcy another time when the court ruled in the company’s favor in 2020. After these incidents, it seems like Ariela is still living off her parent’s money.
