She proudly announced the news of her marriage to Tracey on her social media, with a picture of them holding hands with wedding rings on them. Her caption said, “Married my best friend,” alongside their wedding date, April 22, 2021. The 90 Day Fiance star later appeared on John Yates’s YouTube channel and gave everyone a brief about what was happening. Later on, she also gave an interview to InTouchWeekly and answered some questions about her marriage that are on everyone’s mind.
Upon being asked about how she met Tracey, Lisa Hamme revealed that they are childhood best friends, and she knew him since they were together in the fifth grade. They lost connection through the years and finally met again through his mother from church. When Tracey was asked about how he felt about Hamme’s visit to Nigeria to meet SojaBoy, he said he was pretty furious. Yet, Lisa currently only regrets the things that happened back in Nigeria and the way things started off between her and Tracy.
Well, she even revealed that after she came back from Nigeria and Tracey proposed to her two times. However, the COVID-19 pandemic situation things pushed back alongside the TLC contract. This was when they finally couldn’t wait anymore and ended up tying the knot. While they were both quite nervous about the big day, it was Hamme’s daughter that brightened up the mood by cracking jokes and laughing. On the other hand, Lisa also revealed that the couple didn’t hold a reception due to COVID-19. However, they still went on a honeymoon to Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. The 53-year-old celeb blushes as she says that her honeymoon was “absolutely stunning.”
