As 90 Day Fiance Season 9 came on TV, Bilal became the talk of the town. In fact, fans thought he was very problematic with how he was dealing with his partner Shaeeda. At first, he took her to his old, simplistic house in a beat-up van to make her realize his “humble origins”. Moreover, he was very dedicated to hiding his lavish life to “test” his woman and see if she cared about fortune or love. Therefore, this didn’t sit right with the audience, and they began accusing Bilal of lying and deceiving an innocent woman.
At last, 90 Day Fiance audience also began calling Bilal “arrogant” and “in vain,” owing to multiple other instances. Therefore, the man of the hour finally opened up about this. On his Instagram, the celebrity stated that fans are mistaking “arrogance” with “confidence”. Apparently, he never thinks he is “better” than anyone and spends half his time “helping” people”. While Bilal has been facing lots of hatred and trolls, the 90 Day Fiance fanbase had been feeling sorry for his partner, Shaeeda. Therefore, they would often comment that no man should treat their woman this way. However, the Trinidadian finally opened up about her perspective on social media. It turns out she called her love interest “sweet” and “caring” while refuting him as a “narcissist”. At last, the foreigner also stated that he isn’t “controlling” in any way.
Additonally, Shaeeda also talked about racism and stated that 90 Day Fiance viewers are conditioned to “perceive” a black man as “illiterate”, “deadbeat”, “dependent,” and “struggling”. Therefore, the audience isn’t taking nicely to her man. Yet, they couldn’t;t help but disagree with her racism claim.
