Any 90 Day Fiance fan would know how desperate Julia Trubkina was to move out of her husband’s parents’ farm. As per recent reports, the couple might already be living away. However, it wasn’t easy for Brandon to break the news to his parents that he and his wife are moving out of their place. Fans watched the drama play out in the recent episode of the show and are certainly not happy with the way Ron and Betty Gibbs reacted. In fact, after some observations, people have been accusing the parents of holding back their grown son. Here’s what they had to say.

There was tension between the TLC couple as Julia wanted to run away from the farm life. However, Brandon had some reservations about taking the huge step. Well, he wanted to live with his parents until the couple has enough money to buy a place for themselves. But in the end, Julia eventually convinced her husband. Hence, in the previous episode, Brandon finally informed his parents that he and his wife Julia are thinking of leaving the farm. The conversation didn’t go well as his parents started talking about how their son wouldn’t be able to make it on his own.
They also mentioned how Brandon has never paid any bills in his life and hasn’t been able to live on his own for more than two months. This was when plenty of TLC viewers hoarded in to criticize Ron and Betty. In fact, people even accused the parents of holding their son back from experience the real world. Others talked about how it’s “WEIRD” that the Gibbs think their grown 27-year-old child is incapable of living on his own and paying his rent. Also, fans think that Brandon’s parents should stop belittling him and let him live in the same world as all people of his age do.

Brandon’s parents think that their 27-year-old son is incapable of being independent in his life. Well, fans think that even if that’s true, it’s the result of bad parenting. They talked about how the majority of people of his age and even younger, are responsible enough to live on their own. People pay their own bills and know the value of a dollar, especially as they get married. Hence, even if Brandon would actually not be able to live on his own, it’s his parent’s fault for not teaching him more about “real life.”
Other criticisms include how Rona and Betty have always babied their “adult” son. They’ve been trying to control him and his married life as if he’s a teenager. On the other hand, fans point out that Brandon has a job and has been earning for a while now. Hence, they shouldn’t be considering him financially unstable, as he has ways to feed his family. Well, it all comes down to parenting, as a lot of the 90 Day Fiance viewers think the Gibbs could’ve done better.
Well, reports say that the couple is finally living some away from Brandon’s parents. Besides, as of the looks, they seem to be doing pretty fine.
