David Murphey’s death was a big shock to everyone in the reality TV fraternity. According to TMZ, a Nevada spokesperson confirmed that he died of a natural cause, which is a cardiac attack. He had multiple health issues, such as pulmonary emboli, which also significantly led to his untimely demise.
David passed away at his home in Nevada. A week after his death, his family issued public statements about him on social media. They shared that the reality star has been suffering a lot physically. “He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and fans,” they added. Several fans honored him in the comments as they mourned the loss. His love life with Ukrainian Lana and proposal to her in the season’s finale is still remembered.

An exclusive InTouch report showed some court documents listed David Murphey’s sister, Robyn Polinsky, as being in charge of his estate administration. She is not the only sister because there are two other sisters named Cheryl Hastings and Linda Murphey. However, Linda died before his brother, and he didn’t have a wife or kids. Even their parents had predeceased.
Robyn filed in court to inform the court that she had decided to put David’s home up for sale. According to property records, the TLC star possessed a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house covering 1535 square feet. As per the listing on April 30, the value of the home the family has put up is a whopping $299,000.
The filing mentioned auctioning David’s home this month if it’s not sold beforehand. Robyn revealed that she would only sell it to the highest bidder. Unfortunately, David hasn’t left behind a will to declare his beneficiaries, but Robyn called herself and Cheryl the ultimate owners of the estate.
A few weeks after David’s death, Robyn mentioned that she had learned about his Montana business for the first time. He had bought a 2023 Cornerstone 45-B motor vehicle for work purposes. Robyn urged the court to give her access to the business’s bank accounts, payment bills, contracts, and other legal documents on behalf of the company.
