Sophie and Rob moved to Texas after their marriage. But Sophie made a surprising move and didn’t stay with Rob there. The star moved out of her and her husband Rob’s home and moved in with a female roommate named Kay. Now, this isn’t the shocking part. If you remember, Sophie had told Rob she was bisexual in season 9 of the original show. Now that Sophie has chosen to live with a female roommate, Rob has unlocked a ‘new fear.’
Rob was scared Sophie was cheating on him with Kay. He feared she was exploring her bisexuality with her. So, in an interview with ET featuring Melicia Johnston, Sophie cleared everything up. The star said she was one hundred percent faithful to Rob. She added that Kay is “just a (close) friend doing a lot” for her. However, Sophie also said she wouldn’t cheat with Kay as her “type is different from Kay.”
What people believe doesn’t bother the 90 Day Fiance star. She maintained she and Kay were “solely platonic friends.” Kay is “straight,” but Sophie is not. Sophie also said that the notion of taking a break from Rob and exploring her bisexuality was “silly.” But Sophie added she would have done that if her “marriage was perfect and Rob was OK with it.” However, she isn’t doing it right now as she is trying to salvage her marriage.

Fans know Rob cheated on Sophie during their long-distance relationship. So, the fans were confused as to why Sophie was continuing the relationship. And now, the 90 Day Fiance star is answering these questions. Sophie and Rob’s relationship fell apart when she had to go back to the UK. During this time, Rob exchanged intimate messages with an anonymous woman.
Sophie revealed that Rob didn’t cheat while she was in the US and after their marriage. While the incident happened during the COVID-19 pandemic, it didn’t excuse Rob’s behavior. But she isn’t ready to destroy their entire relationship over it. Sophie “never caught” Rob cheating in real life. And while none of it was “okay,” the former believes Rob wanted her to be in the US.
