Emma, who is an identical twin, travels to Morocco to meet Ziad after months of long-distance communication. However, we can already see parallels with other couples once they are reunited. This is highlighted by their cultural differences, especially when it came to the public display of affection, AKA PDA.

Their story is part of many that we will follow this season. In it, many lovebirds try to make their international love work as they travel and make sacrifices for each other. 90 Day Fiance: Emma’s Secret Engagement Comes To Light As Ziad Questions Her Honesty

In the latest episode, Emma revealed that she had been engaged in the past to a guy named Mohammed. Moreover, she hadn’t told Ziad about her past. As time went by, Ziad became suspicious, telling Emma he didn’t trust her. He even said that he felt Emma was hiding something from him. He became frustrated and eventually walked away, stating that their relationship could be nearing its end.

Emma later made a confession, which clarified to the audience why Ziad sensed something weird.  She admits in a confessional that she had cut ties with Ziad to seek a future with Mohammed. They became engaged, but their relationship ended when she found out Mohammed was cheating on her. After that incident, Emma reconnected with Ziad, hoping to start from where she left off. The thing is, Ziad has no idea about what happened with Emma.

Emma said that she felt scared as to how Ziad would react. She wants to be honest but also worries that revealing the engagement could hurt their love. Meanwhile, Ziad comes with his own set of problems for Emma. Although he seems more open emotionally than Mohammed, he still refuses public affection.
