When Ziad told her he had spoken to his family about them, Emma was happy. Emma said in a confessional that she was relieved that Ziad talked to his family about her. But Ziad then said that it would be difficult for them to meet her as they had hectic lives and wouldn’t be available to meet her.

However, Emma didn’t like Ziad’s reasoning and felt he might be hiding things from her. Later, Ziad told his friend that the chances of marrying Emma were “0%.” When Emma got to know about this, she couldn’t believe it. Although Ziad quickly tried to backtrack, claiming that his statement applied only to the present and not forever.
