90 Day Fiance: Andrew And Amira Met Each Other Via A Dating Website

The current season of 90 Day Fiance will bring in Andrew and Amira. Amira shared that she never found herself fitting in the culture of Saumur. The small place never gave her enough liberty and she found it to be boring for a single woman. So, she ventured outside and signed up on a dating website around two years ago. There, she met Andrew, and the two connected instantly. After this, they met for a romantic gateway in Las Vegas, where Andrew proposed to his lady love.

Andrew And Amira Try ‘Creative’ Way, Get Stuck

After the couple got engaged, they were granted their K-1 visa. However, their plan has to go through a loophole to find a way out because of the pandemic. They had only 40 days to tie the knot before their visa expires. The couple decided to quarantine for 14 days in Mexico and then fly down to the United States. However, a glitch happens and Amira is detained at the Mexico airport. Her father called up Andrew to inform him and says on the camera that he didn’t like Andrew. According to him, he pressurized his daughter to visit Mexico amid the increasing numbers of COVID cases. Amira was afraid to fly down but did so because she loved Andrew and had to prove it to him.

Fans Take Aim At Andrew For Behaving Like A Victim

While Andrew explains that his flight from California to Mexico was shitty, the fans have no sympathy for him. In fact, they’re more concerned about his fiancee, who had to spend time at the detention center. Andrew previously clarified that the ‘loophole’ idea was not his but 90 Day Fiance’s ‘frankenbiting’ editing. Despite this, the viewers find it hard to believe him.

Although Amira and Andrew had connected easily, it is uncertain if they are still together. According to Newsweek, both of them hardly have photos together. Their respective Instagram grids are devoid of each other’s pictures. Add to that, they don’t even follow each other. It is possible that they’re trying to keep their relationship under the wrap or maybe, they aren’t together! Catch 90 Day Fiance on TLC on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST.
