Recently, 90 Day Fiance fans have been forced to question the authenticity of Forrest and Sheena’s love story. This happened after a lot of social media evidence was brought to attention by reality TV pages. The couple was introduced in Before The 90 Days season 8 as a long-distance couple who had never met in person. However, fans now believe that they had not been as truthful as shown on screen.
Now, with various online reports and allegations, everyone started talking about the matter. This forced Forrest to address the allegations himself. Despite that, things seem to be more complicated, and speculations will not likely dial down. Did Forrest really meet Sheena years before cameras started rolling? Or is this all a misunderstanding caused by online glitches? Keep on reading to know more.
Things got iffy for 90 Day Fiance fans when old Facebook posts from Forrest and Sheena, from years before filming began, resurfaced. Sheena’s friend Ed Ong shared one of the posts on a July 2019 birthday. The post included an auto-generated video and an image showing Sheena posing with Forrest. Some fans initially believed the dates had been edited. However, bloggers and fan pages didn’t stop there and soon found out even more content from the same time.
Blogger Shabooty found several birthday videos from 2019 that had older profile photos of the couple. Forrest also looked a lot younger in the images and wore different glasses than he does on the show. Another post from 2019 showed Forrest helping Sheena at her veterinary clinic in the Philippines. The Tagalog caption referred to Sheena as “doc Sheen” and mentioned that her “hubby” assisted her. After this post went viral, Sheena locked her Facebook profile.
The 90 Day Fiance star Forrest also saw this narrative reaching a lot of people, and he decided to respond. He went in the comments section of those posts that mentioned the alleged 2019 photos. He asked his followers to visit his page to “see the truth.” Forrest claimed that he did not post the image in 2019 but instead posted it in 2026. He went on to blame it on a Facebook glitch for changing the date.
He later shared a status as well in which he criticized the “trillion-dollar company” for technical issues that allegedly make new posts appear several years old. Even after this, Forrest did not really deny that the photos were real but rather blamed the problem on Facebook. After hearing his explanation, fans weren’t really convinced. One fan said that Forrest should show his passport so that they can see the travel stamps.
Others accused Forrest of trying to save face in not-so-convincing ways. Some fans also felt the controversy was unnecessary. They felt that if Forrest and Sheena admitted the truth, people would not care enough to dig deeper. After a while, Forrest deleted his posts and comments, which made fans even more doubtful about the whole thing. For the latest 90 Day Fiance tea, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers.
