Greta emotionally stated, “I will only look back with like fond memories of like the connection I felt with you and how we helped each other grow.” Matthew looked closely at the ring, and he said in TLC confessional he never intended to take it back from her once he had put it on. He appeared very shaken by her words.

Greta noted that their breakup might be the worst mistake of her life, something she would later regret. However, she made this tough decision based on his plans, which included wanting kids and the rest. He wanted her to marry him, but things didn’t fall into place as he had imagined.
