90 Day Fiance: Legal Expert Predicts Hamza Will Struggle To Keep His Green Card After Divorcing Memphis!
Hamza and Memphis’ relationship became quite toxic as the couple started their lives in America. The latter began complaining about how her husband doesn’t help around the house. He also began suffering from homesickness and didn’t feel at peace in Michigan. Later, some leaked conversations gave away that there had been trouble in paradise for Memphis and Hamza for a long time. Hence, they opted for a divorce after being married for less than two years. It got finalized in October 2022. The latest details reveal that Hamza will have to face a lot of hardships to keep his green card.
As per a legal representative, i.e., Kathleen Martinez, from Dominique Enchinton of Dominton Talent House, Hamza most probably has a “conditional” green card as he got it within the first two years of marriage. Due to this, he will have to appeal to “remove” the conditions, including the request to “remove” the “spousal signature” requirement because of the divorce. Then, the Tunisian man will have to either prove that he is “married” to Memphis for “bonafide and natural” reasons or divorced for the same reasons, not just because of the green card.
According to Martinez, the 90 Day Fiance couple’s marriage looks “fraudulent.” That’s because Memphis and Hamza didn’t know each other long enough before tying the knot. So, filing for a legal separation instantly might be challenging for Hamza as he would struggle to keep his visa status.
90 Day Fiance: Memphis Divorced Hamza Because He Was Abusive?
Memphis and Hamza’s marriage had a lot more dark sides that the cameras couldn’t capture. As mentioned above, both of them got a divorce in October 2022. As per the court documents, the American woman accused Hamza of being both “physically” and “verbally” abusive. This happened during their marriage. There has been no further information to back this claim. But the 90 Day Fiance fanbase has been in shock after this reveal. That’s not all. The couple has also been a part of an ugly custody battle for their daughter, Kiori.
Hamza Moknii had made an upsetting post on Father’s Day, saying he was not able to meet his daughter on that special day. However, in court, he asked his baby girl to get a “paternity test” because the star had doubts about his ex having an affair with his ex, Justin Sandoval, before they met in person in Tunisia. But the tests revealed that Hamza is indeed the biological father, and he has also been paying child support for his daughter.
