In fact, they are so popular that they’ll soon appear on another season of the TLC spin-off. However, since Jenny is living in India with Sumit, fans are wondering how the couple survives. The initial storyline of this unique couple was quite complicated. Jenny and Sumit met online and fell in love. However, they both lied about their ages and were shocked to know the truth when they met. At that time, Sumit was working at a call center. Later on, he left that job and joined another one, but didn’t reveal the details. But, in an interview with Cheatsheet, he revealed that he recently started working part-time as a chef in a friend’s cafe. He revealed that he barely works three to four hours in a day, so it doesn’t pay him a lot.

Now, the average salary of a full-time chef of an average cafe/restaurant in India is estimated to be around 40,000 INR for a month. Hence, Sumit might be earning even less than $500-550 a month, given that he only works part-time. However, now that he is living with Jenny, his expenses might have only increased. Well, the couple could be earning some amount from appearing on TLC. But they only film for a part of a year, which can’t be enough to pay their yearly expenses.

But she brought along her $401K for her survival that included her savings and social security money.
