90 Day Fiance: Jasmine Learns About The Concept Of Ethical Non-Monogamy!
Jasmine Pineda is learning ways to improve her marriage on The Last Resort. She wanted a third person in her marriage with Gino to solve their intimacy issues. The latter isn’t ready for an open marriage. Hence, Jasmine discussed her issues with a sex counselor in Season 2. In a clip, the therapist, Reba, told her that she was exploring open marriage or ethical non-monogamy.
Pineda was impressed with the new term and asked for more details about it. She discovered that both parties in a marriage can have multiple partners or sexual relationships, and everybody is okay with it. However, Gino already considered it a deal-breaker for him. He was upset about it and compared it to cheating. Jasmine tried to make her husband understand that there are rules.
She cannot get intimate with anybody she likes. The Panamanian native made it clear that she only wanted a temporary third person in her marriage, not a permanent one. Moreover, Jasmine noted, “But I won’t cross any sexual boundaries unless Gino and I come to that agreement.” Reba revealed that she was also in an ethical, non-monogamous marriage for years with her husband for nine years.
She also claimed that it wasn’t sunshine and rainbows and they had a lot of conversations. The therapist stated, “It takes really good conflict resolution skills.” Jasmine was sure what she wanted from her marriage and decided to ask Gino for the option during the recommitment ceremony.
