Emily and her parents, David and Lisa made several attempts to honor Kobe’s culture. However, they were also hesitant about their decision about the traditional wedding ceremony. Emily’s parents had a hard time accepting the Cameroonian traditions.
But Kobe and his family made sure to make everyone comfortable. Fortunately, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony and started a new journey. Sadly, the pair had only a few days to spend with Kobe’s family. Recently, the couple went to say their goodbyes before leaving for the US. The latest teaser revealed the emotional moment between Kobe and his family before he returned to his wife’s country.
He was hugging his mom, dad, and siblings in the clip. The reality TV star’s dad said, “I love my son and he loves me and now I also love his wife.” Emily was also emotional during her return and hugged all the family members. She told her daughter to say goodbye and hug her grandpa and she did. Lisa and all the family members said “awww” in unison to gush at the wholesome moment.
Meanwhile, David helped his granddaughter give a flying kiss to everyone before heading to the car. As per ET, Kobe confessed, “It’s always hard to leave family, when you are leaving people like that, there’s always some sort of emotional breakdown in you.” Moreover, he was hopeful to return home soon.
