Emma was understandably dumbfounded, faced with a man who was nothing like the one she had met online. She became increasingly agitated as their first meeting did not go as she had expected. To make her feel better, Ziad took Emma on a shopping date to old Medina. He thought the cultural hub would be a nice place because it houses a variety of shops and food stalls. The cameras captured the couple, hand in hand, roaming the alleys of Old Medina. One particular shop caught Emma’s eye with their wallets. Ziad offered to buy them for her.

This gesture evidently touched Emma’s heart. She even gave him a few air kisses. He even held her purse and her bags like a gentleman. Their date took another turn when he asked her to try a local snail dish. However, Emma declined his offer, calling it gross. The awkward moment turned romantic when Ziad took Emma for an evening horse-drawn carriage ride.
